In Pierre's life, it didn't just rain drops... It rained war, discrimination & trauma. He survived two civil wars and a genocide and learned that you don't have to get wet in the rain. Not even when it rains at work, for instance, or in top sports! During his keynote, he shares three principles to ensure that you too can stay dry when it rains.
"It's raining, but I'm not getting wet."
This is the life motto of the positive Pierre. After a tumultuous start to his life in which he experienced several wars and a genocide in his native Rwanda, Pierre came to the Netherlands for a fresh start. By now, not giving up was written in his DNA.
As a young refugee in the Netherlands, he had to struggle with the spiritual aftermath of the civil wars and genocide in Rwanda and Congo. He turns out to be a talented footballer and is contracted to FC Groningen's youth academy at the age of 10. After several prestigious years, in which he wins acclaimed prizes, his past catches up with him.
Tortured by the traumas of his early childhood, he no longer manages to play football at the highest level in the Netherlands. His footballing dream falls apart. However, driven by his football ambition, Pierre decides in 2014 to make the move abroad, including Atlanta (USA) and Romania. During this period, Pierre discovers a lot about himself and life. This becomes the driving force for pursuing his life mission as a professional footballer, entrepreneur and keynote speaker.
