About Karin Albers

Karin Albers is a landscape ecologist with a mission: to make nature-inclusive action a matter of course in every city and village. She has been working on nature and biodiversity for more than 25 years; as an independent researcher, consultant and trainer. She has guided diverse parties such as municipalities, property developers, contractors, gardeners and water boards. From verge management plans and butterfly counting, to nature development projects and the nature policy of a large city.  

Her strength? Translating complex ecological knowledge into viable practice and policy.
She is the author of the book 'Every street deserves nature' and is known for her broad expertise and inspired way of communicating. 

With her keynote 'Natural Nature', she helps municipalities and large organisations with a fresh perspective and concrete 'natural steps' towards a nature-inclusive standard.
