Taal is het enige wapen wat wij hebben om wat in ons omgaat begrijpelijk te maken voor anderen, naast de lichaamstaal die je gebruikt. Het is daarom belangrijk dat je verhaal een logische opbouw heeft. Helaas krijgen we dat vanuit school vaak niet goed aangeleerd, in onze cultuur kennen we het mooi spreken nog niet zo goed. Retorica zoals in de tijd van Socrates, waar men nadacht over <strong>pathos, logos en ethos<\/strong>, dat komt nu weinig aan bod. Toch is het belangrijk dat je niet alleen nadenkt over w\u00e1t je nu precies zegt, maar ook over de manier waarop je dat zegt.<\/p><p>Een keynote spreker is iemand die de key note \u2013 oftewel, de sleutel \u2013 inzet en daarmee de toon voor de dag zet. Dat houdt in dat je verdomde goed moet weten welke toon het precies moet worden en daar moet je dus goed over nadenken.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>DO:<br \/><\/strong>Een verhaal met een duidelijke boodschap, een logische opbouw en een sterke overdracht komt het beste binnen bij jouw publiek. Wat je kan helpen om een sterk verhaal neer te zetten is je verhaal helemaal uitschrijven en dat doen in bepaalde hoofdstukken. BEREID JE GOED VOOR EN OEFEN VEEL<\/strong><\/h2><p>Om de juiste toon te kunnen zetten, heb je een goede voorbereiding nodig, geeft Richard aan: \u201cWees je er vooral van bewust dat je niet onvoorbereid het podium op kan. Denk niet dat je een verhaal kan vertellen zonder dat je het eerst op tig plekken toetst en zorg dat je echt goede criticasters hebt die de duimschroeven bij je willen aandraaien. Je wil immers dat mensen naar huis gaan en denken \u2018Ik moet dit aan mijn partner vertellen\u2026\u2019. Zorg altijd dat mensen geraakt zijn als ze naar buiten gaan; dat behaal je vooral door te oefenen en aan de knoppen te blijven draaien. Let er alleen op wel dat je jouw presentatie niet te veel kapot regisseert, want verliest je verhaal zijn spontaniteit en zijn kracht.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>DO:<br \/><\/strong>Plan 5 afspraken in die jou de mogelijkheid geven om te oefenen met spreken. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan business clubs, sportverenigingen, scholen, etc. Dit zijn perfecte locaties om jouw performance te toetsen. Ook kan het helpen om jezelf op te nemen met een camera, zodat je jouw eigen performance kan terugkijken en kan zien waar je nog moet bijschaven.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2bd3a614 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2bd3a614\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-text\"><h2><strong>3. VRAAG OM KRITISCHE FEEDBACK<\/strong><\/h2><p>Je kan immers alleen maar groeien van opbouwende kritiek, stelt Richard. \u201cZorg dat je mensen om je heen verzamelen die je kritische feedback kunnen geven waar je echt iets aan hebt. Je wil feedback krijgen van mensen die je op alle aspecten van je talk feedback kunnen geven en die eerlijk kunnen zijn over zowel de inhoud als de vorm van je presentatie. Bij voorkeur zijn dit mensen die snappen wat het is om op het podium te staan. Het kan daarom zijn dat je in jezelf moet investeren om dit te kunnen bewerkstelligen. Zolang je maar criticasters hebt die weten waar ze het over hebben en die jij vertrouwt, op die manier kan je namelijk verder bouwen.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>DO:<\/strong> Wacht niet de feedback van jouw publiek af, maar vraag hen er actief naar. Pols of jouw verhaal duidelijk was en welke delen dat misschien niet waren. Neem het presentatiecanvas erbij en loop deze met jouw critici door: hoe scoor jij hierop, waar was je heel goed in en waar kan je nog in verbeteren?<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8e94a6f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8e94a6f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-text\"><h2><strong>4. STA ER VOOR JE PUBLIEK<\/strong><\/h2><p>Presenteer je voor jezelf of presenteer je voor je publiek? Alhoewel het een makkelijke vraag lijkt, blijkt het antwoord dat niet altijd te zijn. \u201cBesef je ten alle tijden dat je voor je publiek staat te praten, niet voor jezelf. Zij maken de commitment om jou hun aandacht te geven en naar jou te luisteren, dus je bent het ze verschuldigd om daar jouw effort in te steken\u201d, vindt Richard. \u201cAls jij het spreken serieus neemt, neemt je publiek jou ook serieus. Zo zorg ik bijvoorbeeld zelf altijd dat ik ruim van tevoren aanwezig ben met mijn technicus om de techniek door te lopen, want dan weten we zeker dat alles loopt. Al moet ik er om 8 uur zijn terwijl ik pas om 5 uur moet spreken, dat is iets wat ik voor mijn werk over heb. Alles om te zorgen dat ik straks op het podium kan staan en het publiek volledig kan meenemen, ik doe het immers voor hen.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>DO:\u00a0<\/strong> Maak voor jezelf een checklist die je moet hebben doorgelopen voordat je het podium opstapt: heb ik mijn presentatie getest, nagedacht over mijn outfit, achtergrondresearch gedaan naar de locatie, de inhoud met de opdrachtgever afgestemd, etc.?
