stuck...<\/strong><br data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"732\" \/><strong>No decision that was made...<\/strong><br data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"760\" \/><strong>Just expensive minutes that slipped by...<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>We're Paying Premium Prices for Mediocre Results<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"799\">Following a recent article by <strong data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"872\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Maria Franzoni<\/span><\/span><\/strong> on the <b>(r)evolution of speaker agencies<\/b>. where she argues for smaller, specialist agencies that truly understand their speakers, I want to share my own perspective and show what this shift really Pay for Keynotes. But Do We Get Quality?<\/h2><p data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1277\">We pay serious fees for keynote speakers. Expertise has value, absolutely!<br data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1215\" \/>But with that comes an expectation of quality and distinction.<\/p><p>In other professions, that's obvious.<\/p><p><strong><em>An architect doesn't \u201cjust design something.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1367\" \/><strong><em>A surgeon doesn't \u201cjust give it a go.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1408\" \/><strong><em>A plumber doesn't show up without tools.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1450\" data-end=\"1556\">Yet in speaking, we often accept mediocrity because \u201csomeone is a good storyteller\u201d or is famous.<br data-start=\"1534\" data-end=\"1537\" \/>That is not enough.<\/p><p data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1779\">That's why I started <strong data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"1596\">Speakers Club<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1597\" data-end=\"1600\" \/>Not to become yet another shop window for speakers, but to restore speaking and presenting as a <strong data-start=\"1696\" data-end=\"1705\">craft, <\/strong>a professional skill every serious leader, influencer should take responsibility for.<\/p><p data-start=\"1781\" data-end=\"1886\">The next phase, according to us, is moving from <strong data-start=\"1811\" data-end=\"1834\">showroom to workshop<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"1838\" \/>Not \u201cbooking someone,\u201d but <strong data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"1885\">designing impact<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1944\">That requires seeing differently and acting differently.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a4dcfc7 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"a4dcfc7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e7a34f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e7a34f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>1. Keep building, keep challenging yourself, keep improving. Use technology intelligently. Rehearse until it's second nature. Share what actually works, not what sounds impressive. Your audience isn't just paying with money, they're giving you their most valuable asset: attention and time.
